English as an Additional Language

 

Some children speak a different language at home to English.

 

These children are EAL learners - 'English as an Additional Language'

 

 

What do we do at King's Park?

 

All children are welcomed.

 

We try to make sure that children have a friend who speaks their home language.

 

We give some extra help in learning English.

 

We are supported by Christine Kemp from Bournemouth Education Authority.
