2009 Gallery

 

In Year 1 the children learn through exciting practical and 'hands on' activities.  They are both challenged and stimulated to build on their Foundation Stage experience.  The children learn through a wide and balanced project led curriculum.  These have included 'Push Me, Pull You' where the children met the fire brigade and made their own moving fire engine which they tested in a grand prix day. 'Lights, Camera, Action!' was a Literacy led project which encouraged creative writing about our School Charter. Our most recent project was 'Piggies in the Spotlight' where the children made their own class book of favourite fairy tales.
